How it works
Your money. Their choice. Their privacy.
- You email us. Subject "Company enquiry". Who pays, which month. No names or health details yet.
- You offer it to the leader. Share this page. An offer, not an order.
- The leader applies themselves at /apply and has a free video call with Sami. Nobody is accepted before that call.
- The leader can say no, at any point before signing, with no reason. You are only told "not going ahead".
- If they join, the leader signs their agreement, and the company gets the invoice.

What you see, and what you never see.

- Whether it is going ahead, with the leader's OK.
- The start date and length, so you can plan cover.
- The invoices and payment dates.
You never see
- Health details. Not the application, not the doctor's letter.
- What is said during the month.
- Reports on the leader. We write none.
- Confidential both ways. We never name your company or the leader, anywhere, without written permission.
- The leader is free. They can leave at any time. They keep their own phone, passport, money and key.
The month itself
What the month is, and what it isn't.
- Shared low-carb meals with intermittent fasting, adjusted to each guest. Anyone who feels unwell eats; nobody is pushed.
- Daily exercise at their own pace, and short, optional meditation.
- Outings and long talks. One free day a week.
- No alcohol, no smoking, no drugs. Prescribed medicine is always allowed.
- Work kept to a minimum, agreed on the call.
What we don't promise: any work result. No promise of better performance, output, health or return on the money. It is a calm month away. What the leader does with it is up to them.
The country and city are never published. The leader hears them on the call, before signing anything. How the month works
When we say no.
If the reason is a drinking problem at work, a warning, discipline or a return-to-work plan, we say no and point you to occupational health and a doctor. The Quiet Month is not an intervention.
Not medical care, not therapy, no health claims. Not for anyone who needs medical or psychological care right now. Sami is not a doctor, counsellor or coach. Paying and paperwork.
- Invoice to the company, in Sami's legal name. Sami Adham is a professional name; the legal name is on the invoice and in the agreement before anything is paid.
- Bank transfer only. No card, never crypto, never in a chat or WhatsApp.
- Large supplier portals and insurance certificates: we are not set up for those yet. If you need them, tell us first.
- Sabbatical or paid break: you can call it that. Check your own HR and tax rules; it can be a taxable benefit. This is not tax advice.
Questions from companies
Can our company pay for one person's Quiet Month?
Yes. A company, board, founder or family office can pay the US$10,000 programme fee for one leader for one month. The invoice goes to the company, in Sami's legal name, by bank transfer. The leader still applies and joins the usual way.
Is US$10,000 everything?
It is the programme fee. The leader books and pays their own flat, flights, visa, travel insurance and personal spending. If your company covers those, that is between you and the leader. The full picture is on the all-in cost page.
Will we see the leader's health details?
No. Never. Not the application, not the doctor's letter, not anything said during the month.
Can we sign someone up?
No. The leader applies themselves, has the video call, and can say no. You are only told "going ahead" or "not going ahead".
Will it make them perform better?
We don't promise that, or any health or work result. It is a calm, alcohol-free month away. Not medical care, not therapy, no health claims.
Where is it?
The location is never published. The leader hears the country and city on the call, before signing anything.
How do we know an invoice is really from you?
It comes only by email from info@thequietmonth.com, after a video call and a signed agreement, and the name matches the agreement. Any doubt: don't pay, and check it here.
Is there a discount for companies?
No. The price is the same for everyone.
