Is this payment request really from us?
Not sure? Don't pay. Email us first. Copycats sometimes pretend to be a real business to take money. Here is how The Quiet Month really takes payment, so you can spot a fake in a minute.
Write to info@thequietmonth.com. Type the address yourself; don't just press "reply" on the message you were sent. We answer within 48 hours.
The only way we take payment
- A free video call with Sami. You see and hear the person you are dealing with.
- A written agreement, signed by both of us. You get Sami's full legal name in writing before you sign.
- An invoice by email from info@thequietmonth.com. It has the payment details. You pay by bank transfer, or by the method written in your signed agreement.
Nothing is paid before the video call and the signed agreement. The steps and amounts are on the price page and in the terms.
We never
- Ask for money in a chat. Not in the Rowan chat on this site (Rowan is our AI assistant), and not in any other chat or app.
- Ask for money by WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram or text message. We may answer questions there, but a payment request will only ever come by email from info@thequietmonth.com.
- Ask for crypto from strangers or send you a wallet address to pay for the Month.
- Send payment details from any other email address. Our only web address is thequietmonth.com. Look-alikes such as "the-quiet-month", "thequietmonth.co" or a free email account are not us.
- Change bank details by message. If the details look different from your invoice or agreement, stop and email us.
- Rush you to pay today. No countdowns, no "last place" pressure, no "booking fee" to hold a place before the call.
Check it with us
Forward the message, invoice or screenshot to info@thequietmonth.com and tell us where it came from. We reply within 48 hours and tell you plainly if it is from us or not. Until then, please don't pay.
Already paid someone who wasn't us?
- Call your bank or payment service now. The sooner you call, the better the chance to stop the payment.
- Report it to the police or the fraud reporting service where you live.
- Tell us at info@thequietmonth.com, so we can warn others.
